Please be aware that placing this product on a rough or unclean surface, as well as normal daily use on cooking ranges, will damage the finish on the bottom of the kettle. This is normal wear and does not affect functionality. Slight discolouration on the bottom of the copper Stagg will occur when used on gas and electric stoves.
