Press Release - 22nd April 2016

PRESS RELEASE - 22nd APRIL 2016

The Ground Coffee Society has pioneered South-West London's specialty coffee scene since 2009. Sourcing, roasting and serving its own coffee, over the years Ground Coffee Society has built a solid reputation for delivering the most consistent and loved coffee in the area. After recently teaming up with celebrity power couple and coffee lovers, Ronan & Storm Keating they plan to take that much loved coffee to the world.

The coffee is ethically sourced and fairly traded by small farmers around the world, the beans themselves are roasted in Wandsworth Town at Ground Coffee Society’s very own coffee roasting facility. All of the beans are roasted in small batches to ensure freshness, then packaged by hand, ensuring quality with every bag. Their regular house blend 'Caveman' is on offer all year round, which is used as the base of arguably one of London's best flat whites. This is accompanied by seasonal single origins for both espresso and lightly roasted filter for the coffee connoisseur in you.

Their flagship London store, located in Putney offers a warm welcoming atmosphere, with plenty of space to open up your laptop, socialise with friends and enjoy some wonderful coffee, delicious cakes or a hearty lunch.

The stores opening hours are 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 6pm on weekends. The coffee roastery is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday.

The Rebrand

AN EXCITING ANNOUNCEMENT..

When I started Grind Coffee Bar in 2009, the last thing I thought I'd be doing 7 years later is having to find a new company name, but I honestly believe the last 7 years have just been preparing me for what's ahead.

This year holds a lot of very exciting opportunities for us as a company including new locations, events and music festivals, expansion of our coffee roasting business, and partnerships with some very influential people and organisations. But before any of this can happen... We need a new name!

We're having to rebrand simply because of some complications with protecting the word 'Grind'. But the good news is, it's still going to be the same incredible coffee served by the same passionate team of people, and I can honestly say on behalf of everyone involved, we've never been more excited for what's ahead of us.

So, we're excited to announce that Grind Coffee Bar is now officially...

Ground Coffee Society!

Help us spread the word and hit that share button...
